Training & Inspections
Training
In order to meet and maintain the standards set by the international aviation safety groups it is important that facilities and equipment are inspected on a regular basis and that staff receive regular training on safety and operational procedures.
Flightline can provide these services.
We offer standard courses from 3 to 10 days or we can tailor a training course to suit your particular operation, specialising on any aspects of fuel handling that you wish. Training covers every procedure from fuel receipt to changing filter elements or into-plane operations. Quality control and health and safety are also covered.
Courses can be aimed at management, supervisors or operational staff.
Our general courses include both theoretical and practical training. Covering all aspects of fuel handling, quality control and safety.
Training courses are carried out at your facility and on your equipment so operators are trained on the actual equipment that they are using on a daily basis. This also has the additional benefits of
- A substantial cost saving. It is less expensive to send one training expert to you than it is for you to send ten of your staff to us.
- You won't have the inconvenience of losing a number of your operational staff because you have to send them overseas for weeks at a time on training courses.
Inspection
It is important that your fuelling facilities and equipment are inspected on a regular basis.
We recognise that inspecting and reporting on such equipment is a specialised job and that not every company has the luxury of having suitably trained and experienced personnel on hand to do this.
As part of our support system we offer independent inspections on fuelling facilities, equipment and operational procedures.
Inspections are followed up with a clear and concise report detailing every aspect of the inspection.
Including:-
- Fuel receipt procedures.
- Fuel storage.
- Quality control.
- Fuel handling.
- Condition of refuelling equipment
- Into-plane procedures.
- Health and Safety.
In addition to carrying out inspections and providing a report on what was found we also offer sound and practical advice on how improvements can be made and what changes, if any need to be made to improve on safety, quality and efficiency.
